Active Duty Military & Veteran Support
Please pray this prayer for our troops deployed in
Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere throughout the world:

Father in Heaven, Holy is Your name; we come to You in
Jesus' name, petitioning for Your grace upon the troops that are in Iraq. We ask that you keep them in your loving hands and care. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in this time of need. We pray also for all Leaders, that you give them the Wisdom to bring this war to a quick resolve. Amen!

Xerox Corporation is continuing its Let's Say Thanks program, where they print and send a card with your personalized message to military personnel stationed overseas. The cards feature designs created by schoolchildren throughout the United States. Send a card by visiting Let's Say Thanks and following the directions. There is no cost, and you may send as many cards as you wish. Please select different designs when sending more than one, so the troops will receive a variety of cards.
Catholic War Veterans Post 386 members are parishioners in Newburgh and New Windsor who wish to support veterans.  They would like to reach out in prayer and support to the men and women serving on active duty who are sons, daughters, or other relatives of local parishioners.  To do this they need the service members’ name, rank, and address and the parish where the family attends.  Please contact Deacon Tony Ferraiuolo at 845-562-4436 or 845-542-9671, via mail at 23 Park Hill Drive, New Windsor, NY 12533, or e-mail apfspf@aol.com.
Do you know someone serving in the Armed Forces? Catholic War Veterans of Newburgh would like to send them a letter of support and a religious memento gift. Contact the Rectory.
